Baby, you wouldn't believe it

Last Saturday morning Chad woke up at 5:30am and hustled to our bathroom. He began hollering for me, I jumped up and walked into the bathroom to find myself standing in water. We had water everywhere in that bathroom. We immediately started soaking up water. I ran downstairs to get more towels and found that it sounded like it was raining cats and dogs in our formal dinning room. After we finished soaking up water upstairs we moved downstairs. The wood flooring downstairs was already starting to buckle.

Tuesday we finally spoke with the insurance adjuster and she advised us to have Service Master out to dry out the rooms. They ripped out all of the wood flooring from downstairs, our closet and the linoleum from the bathroom. Service Master set up fans all over the damaged rooms and some dehumidifiers- can we say LOUD!! They said it could take 3-5 days, I hope its only 3.

Plumber is coming tomorrow (Thursday) to write a report about why the toilet leaked for insurance purposes. The adjuster is suppose to come out Friday afternoon to evaluate the damages and we'll go from there. So much drama- not something we needed right now, or ever for that matter.

We have come to the conclusion that there will always be "something" even when we think we've covered all of our bases something else hits us and makes us realize we have very little control in the game of life.

Sweet baby of my mine know that life will give you ups and downs. Things will not always go your way- sometimes it may even seem as if you never get your way, but know that things of this life are just that, things of this life. Sometimes it takes big, bad things for us to realize how good we really do have it. Always find the silver lining.

We love you so much baby.
